This has been a tough time for Reed's as well as all other hobby shops in the
area. The economy has slowed down sales and we have had to reduce staffing
and pinch pennies to get by. Some of what is going on has to be due to the
impact of the internet and Ebay. Also, it has been a challenge to get the young
folks started in model railroading. I have made a commitment to Reed's and our
customers who help us keep the doors open. We are still well stocked and I also
bought the building that Reed's occupies. I'm usually in the store on saturdays
to chew the fat, help on modeling issues and, of course, sell trains. See you at
